Cheddar Valley's hospital played host to a drop-in event forDementia Awareness Week.
Weston Hospital and partners spoke to about 90 people of the workbeing done against dementia in the South West, which has the highestnumber of older people in the country.
Hospital dementia lead nurse Sister Susie Milton hosted the eventwhere visitors learned about what help was available from thehospital and outside agencies like the Alzheimer's Society,Crossroads Care, the fire and rescue service and Telecare.
